This historic symbol of liberty still hangs in the hall of Mount Vernon where George Washington placed it. It is the key to the west portal of the Bastille, long used as a political prison, in France.

O despostismo, pois, chuif, chuif, tenho tanta pena daquelas mulheres que não vão poder usar o véu e já podem sentir o ar fresco na cara e não têm que levantar o véu cada vez que levam o garfo à boca. Chuif, chuif, coitadas delas.
Uma curiosidade: no dia em que deixaram sair os presos de Bastille, só lá havia meia dúzia deles e nenhum era político

de facto, era 7 dos quais dois tolinhos da cabeça. Mas o objectivo da ida á Bastilha não era «libertar» ninguém, era sim apoderar-se do arsenal de armas.
