IPCC confunde “entrevista (telefónica) publicada oito anos antes na New Scientist” com “artigo científico recente”:
“In the past few days the scientists behind the warning have admitted that it was based on a news story in the New Scientist, a popular science journal, published eight years before the IPCC’s 2007 report.
It has also emerged that the New Scientist report was itself based on a short telephone interview with Syed Hasnain, a little-known Indian scientist then based at Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi. (ST)

A única evidência, escandalosamente esmagadora, produzida pelo IPCC é a sua própria falácia.
Interessante, pela ilustração doméstica do fenómeno, é o título da notícia do Público: «IPCC vai estudar se é fiável a previsão sobre desaparecimento dos glaciares dos Himalaias».
Portanto, a fiabilidade das previsões é matéria de estudo! Qual será a disciplina que agrupará os saberes necessários?
A mim, pobre mortal, só me ocorre a cartomância. Ou o vudu.

O inglês técnico dá sempre problemas…que o diga o PM ou a CML…parece que tiveram alguns azares com os segredos e rasteiras que esse maldito inglês técnico encerra…

There might be global warming or cooling but the important issue is whether we, as a human race, can do anything about it.
There are a host of porkies and not very much truth barraging us everyday so its difficult to know what to believe.
I think I have simplified the issue in an entertaining way on my blog which includes some issues connected with climategate and “embarrassing” evidence.

O meu inglês ainda é menos que técnico.
Não percebi nada.
Alguém poderia traduzir, pelo menos para português técnico?
É que a tradução do google também não ajuda:
