depois da derrota colossal em Novembro ( e a vitória respectiva da orientação que defende os direitos humanos sobre o pragmatismo da realpolitik…), nota-se uma concertação com a maioria republicana na House.
As surpreendentes declarações de Hu Jintao (que pela primeira vez num ditador chinês fala em direitos humanos…) são o reflexo –e a intuição chinesa… de mudança da política externa USA ditada pela poderosa Comissão dos Negócios Estrangeiros na House de maioria republicana.
Os republicanos colocam a camisola USA acima das querelas partidárias.
Vão obrigar Obama a regressar ás origens USA e às bandeiras da democracia, liberdade, direitos humanos, cidadania, iniciativa privada, empreendorismo, capacidade individual, etc.

Began the withdrawl of US troops from the ILLEGAL war in Iraq. 3. Ended media blackout on war casulties; reporting full information. 4. The White House and Federal Government are NOW respecting the Freedom Information Act. 5. Imposed limits on lobbyists’s access to the White House. 6. Imposed limits on White House aides working for lobbyists after their tenure in the Administration. 7. Ended the stop-loss policy that kept soldiers in Iraq/Afghanistan longer than their enlistment date. 8. Phased out the expensive F-22 war plane which wasn’t even used or needed in Iraq/Afghanistan. 9. Removed restrictions on embryonic stem-research. 10. New funds for school construction.
11. Yes, the Guantanamo prison is, INDEED, being phased-out. 12. US Auto industry rescue plan. 13. Better body armor is now being provided to the US troops. 14. Ended the previous policy regarding torture. 15. The missile defense program was cut by $1.4 billion in 2010. 16. Agreement on the non-proliferation program. 17. Expanded the CHIPP program to cover health care for 4 million more children. 18. Created Obamacare which now covers an additional 50 million non-insured residents and improved, CONSIDERABLY, a system that was one of the most costly and most inefficient in the world. 19. Instituted a new policy on Cuba. 20. Closed off-shore tax safe havens. 21. Immediate and efficient response to the floods in North Dakota and other natural disasters. 22. Ended the previous policy of offering tax benefits to corporations who outsource American jobs; the new policy is to promote in-sourcing to bring jobs back. 23.Lower drug costs to seniors. 24. And, YES, extended tax cuts to middle class. 25. Energy producing plants must begin preparing to produce 15% of their energy from renewable sources. 26. Began the discussion on immigration policy. 27. Created the $789 billion economic stimulus plan. Without this plan, the unemployement level would be much higher. 28. Improved conditions at Walter Read hospital and other military hospitals. 29. Increased student loans. 30. The FDA is now regulating tabacco, etc.
